ACCUR was established on June 15, 2006. At that time named ‘Vereniging van Compliance Officers Nederlandse Antillen’. Since 2011 the name changed to ‘Associatie van Compliance Officers van Curaçao’. The objectives of the association are as follows: The exchange of knowledge, experience, best practices and increasing the knowledge and insight in the compliance area in the financial services sector. Maintaining a network of Compliance Officers. Forming a forum for inter-professional consultation for the development of the compliance function on Curaçao.

  • More in depth connection with members; creating a more substantive connection in which experiences and best practices are shared with each other to a greater extent (polls via social media, round table sessions and bi-monthly compliance calls).
  • In-depth focus on non-core compliance; attention to risk management, behavioral compliance, data management, FATCA/CRS and training on soft skills for our members
